Victoria Cottage

Victoria Cottage is a family cottage with two en-suite bedrooms. Each has a bath in the bedroom itself, plus its own separate bathroom with a shower.

The family room opens onto a terrace with its own braai, and from there out to the private garden and swimming pool, so days drift easily between indoors and out. Gravel paths wind through Karoo planting in the dappled shade of old pepper trees.

At its heart is an old Karoo kombuis: a wood-burning open hearth beneath the great kitchen chimney, where meals were once cooked over the fire. A Smeg stove and oven sit alongside for everyday cooking.
